Eye Makeup, Eye Shadow, Mascara, Eyeshadow Brush, Lash Serum, Bronzer, Foundation, Blush, Contouring Brush, Contouring Palette, Best Concealer, Foundation Brush

Eye Makeup– This is a long-wear style and it’s stays on really well.  I like to use it as a base for the rest of my eye make-up

Eye Shadow – great shadow for brighting up your eyes

Mascara – I love how well it wears and it makes your lashes look really long.  I normally use this primer and a lash curler.

Eyeshadow Brush– Love this brush and it’s only $1

Lash Serum– I’ve been using it for awhile and I love it.  I could show you some creepy before and after photos but I’ll spare you.  Trust me, it works!

Bronzer– great for brightening around the face

Foundation– I love the matte style and it covers well.

Blush– I love the combination of the bronze and blush. It makes you look a little bit tan

Contouring Brush-I like how this brush applies the make up and I like how it doesn’t make a mess.

Contouring Palette– this is a great palette, because it includes a bronzer and a highlighter. The kit also includes some instructions on contouring.

Best Concealer– The BEST concealer.  I get really dark circles under my eyes and this works great. I always go a little bit lighter than what I normally wear to cover them better.

Foundation Brush– The brush is AMAZING. It makes the foundation go on so quickly. I am always looking for the quick out the door make up look and this is the fastest way to put on my foundation and still have it look really good.

It’s not often that I would say that my daughter, Dahlia, would inspire a post on makeup but today she has.  She goes to a Montessori school during the day so some days I feel like my time with her and Penelope (my younger daughter) is too short. We try to play hard in the evening and get all the things we need to do done before bedtime. The other week when I was kissing her goodnight she said something about ‘makeup’ to me which turned into her and I saying ‘makeup’ in a silly voice back and forth to each other.  So now it’s turned into a little thing with her and I.  Dahlia laughs every time, which brings such joy to my heart.  I swear the laugher of a child is contagious. Sometimes I’ll let her hold a makeup brush while I get ready.  She somehow finds a way to douse it in water and have fun putting on some “makeup.” Now when she gets home from school she asks for her makeup.  I’ve had to explain to her about how her makeup only goes on her lips not on my table, the walls or the stairway railing!  It’s amazing how much joy a little chapstick brought to my sweet girl.

I keep hearing great things about the NeuLash, but it’s so pricey that I have not taken the plunge yet. I may have to pull the trigger!
