Happy Monday! These weekends are flying by! It’s probably because we have a lot to do before baby arrives! Plus, I think there is something to be said about soaking in as much time as a family before everything changes again. We took the girls to a hockey game this weekend and spent some time hanging out at home. Then yesterday, Dahlia and I, my older daughter, went to a cooking class which was really fun! She did such a good job of cutting things up and making things on her own. I have a feeling we’ll be signing up for some more. She was so proud to bring home extras for her dad and sister.  It was really sweet! Today I wanted to share a maxi dress because they’re a great spring break and wardrobe staple. I feel like I look extra pregnant in these photos. I’m not sure how that happened!

Maxi Dress

The maxi dress is the perfect thing to travel with. It can be styled so many ways and it is easy to dress up or down. It can make the perfect pool cover up or dress for a dinner out. They are just so versatile. I have always been drawn towards black maxi dresses. That way you can accessorize them easily and not worry about going over the top with a pattern. I included some pictures below of both maternity and non-maternity dresses. One of the cutest ways to style them is knotted up. You’ll notice a couple of the pictures show the dress styled that way. I will be rocking a jean jacket, maxi dress, and some Chuck Taylors at some point this summer.
