Happy Friday! I am SOOO excited to spend the weekend with my girls. They are way too much fun. My older daughter and my mother-in-law are going to an ice castle near our house today. My daughter is so excited to see Olaf. She tried to get us to go tonight instead of going to bed. The flip book above shows some really great finds out there. I love the cup that says ‘I love you a latte.’ It seems like the perfect Valentine’s Day gift. The pink chairs would look so cute in my office. I think I am drawn to a lot of these things with Valentine’s day right around the corner. Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite days of the year. I love to have a day to celebrate my husband and family.
My daughters and I have some fun projects to start working on. We are going to make some cakes for their teachers that you can make in a mug. Buy two boxes of cake mix, 1 box angel food Cake Mix, and 1 box any flavor regular cake mix. We will use Funafuti. Then mix the 2 cake mixes together in a gallon zip-lock bag. To make the mixes for the teachers you take 3 tablespoons cake mix; mix this with 2 tablespoons water; then put in the microwave for 1 minute. Make sure to print off copies of the instructions for the bags for the teachers. You can always buy these mugs for them to make the cake in. I must mention, my good friend who’s a teacher tells me that teachers really just want gift cards; so I am basically encouraging you to break the rule! Let me know if you guys try it!
