I feel like so much has happened this week, we have been so busy. It’s like we had two weeks of stuff all happen in one! We started the week off in Florida. I’ll recap our trip next week. Then we came back and the girl had their last day at their old school and first day at their new school. Goodbyes are always hard for me so I cried a little bit more than I should have. The girls didn’t do as well as I would have hoped with the drop offs at the new school. Penelope ate almost nothing the first day. Hopefully today will be a better day. I know it will get a little bit better each day but man the start of this has been hard on me.
Penelope’s PT appointment went well. Penelope has some work to do but we loved our physical therapist. She needs to work on some upper body strength and some ab muscles. It’s interesting watching them work with an eleven month old because Penelope doesn’t even really know she’s working out. She just plays with the toys and has a grand old time!
Three years ago today I was due with Dahlia (my older daughter). She ended up holding out and being born on June 6th. I am super excited to celebrate her birthday in the upcoming days. She is such a smart, fun and happy little girl. I know she will have a blast this weekend. We are kicking it off later today with some donuts for national donut day. We get blueberry so I feel like it’s a little bit healthier right?
I am totally in love with this tiered white peplum top. I wore it at a brunch when we were at Children’s Hospital but never ended up posting it while we were there. Peplum tops are naturally very flattering and I love that this one has the layers. I got this adorable grey clutch that I am absolutely in love with as well. I have my initials on it and I am a sucker for anything personalized. If you’re looking for a really easy outfit, a white top and a bright gold bracelet or necklace are great contrasting piece. Even the most basic of tees can look dressed up with a pop of jewelry. Here is a great spot to get a combo discounted if you buy a couple. I really regret just buying the one chain link and not the triple threat. I hope you all have a great weekend and thanks for all your support.
