Happy Friday! I’m looking forward to so many fun things this weekend that it was hard to get through the week with all my excitement! My big project of the day is making Dahlia’s Halloween costume. We will see how that goes.  I’m not a very artistic person, so I’m setting the bar very low.

I’ve been wanting to try a shirt with shoulder cut outs but haven’t been able to find the right one. Finally, I found this one and love it.  It’s such a fun style! I like how comfortable it is for such a trendy top. The top is also on sale for under $20 right now! So grab one before they sell out! JCPenney also has a lot of other great sweatshirt and tops as well.  Their juniors department has some things I am really loving. I got one other top from there that I’ll be sharing this weekend as well.

One of my favorite ways to make an outfit more affordable is to mix high and low pieces. Like I said, this top is under $20 right now and they have so many other great pieces that are reasonably priced.  I like to invest in the basics that you can wear everyday and then get some cute trendy tops that aren’t breaking the bank.  They have some really cute sweatshirts already that are perfect for Christmas. #SoWorthIt
