Back to School 2016…

Schools in Minnesota start really late. Our first day was yesterday. Seeing everyones cute back to school photos on Facebook has been so fun. The mix of emotions between solo Target runs and missing our kids has been strong! I have to admit seeing a friend of mine’s middle schooler wearing a very similar outfit to what I like to wear made me question if I am now “too old” to rock that look! Her and her friend had t-shirts and jeans with flannels around their waist. My oldest is three and does all year Montessori so I am a little behind on her “first day of school pictures.” I didn’t even think of it until I saw everyone else posting theirs. Good thing she’ll never know I was a couple of days late!

I had to return a couple colors of this shirt. I may or may not have bought too many. I really like the slit in the side because I can wear it tucked in and out. I got the purple one to wear to Viking’s game and then more basic colors to wear under vests. The shirt runs big so size down if you’re in-between sizes.

I am starting a little DIY adventure. I am horrible at anything crafty but I will post some pictures on Snapchat (@pinkandnavy) and on Instagram (@pinkandnavystripes) of my progress.
