Olive Sweater…

Yesterday was a day! So I decided to go and get flu shots for Dahlia and myself. One year I waited too long and they ran out so ever since then I go in right away. Dahlia was super excited to go because she likes Doc McStuffins. She did so well for her shot, I was so proud of her. Then it was my turn. I got my shot and then I looked over at Dahlia and she kept yawning repeatedly. Then her face turned a greenish color. I stayed calm but was obviously freaking out on the inside. I told the doctor I thought something was off. She had Dahlia lay down and watched her oxygen levels. When things calmed down I asked her what happened and she said Dahlia almost fainted. People she is three! I have never heard of a three year old almost fainting. Next year, she will be laying down for her flu shot. I gave the girl a sucker to get her some sugar and she was as happy as a lark for the rest of the evening.

Yesterday in Minneapolis it was actually cool outside. I am always a little sad when summer is over but simultaneously excited that I can wear boots and sweaters again. I have a feeling these booties and this sweater will be a staples for my fall wardrobe.
