I love this dress. I got it to wear to my Mother’s Birthday party and a couple other events I had here in Minneapolis this spring. I’ve gotten so much use out of it. It’s the perfect dress to wear to a bridal or baby shower. I just discovered today that it comes in this really cute Chambray, which would be perfect for a Mother’s Day brunch. I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Mother’s Day is this Sunday. I still need to get my Mom a gift. I’ve been planning on getting her one of my favorite make-up brushes that I’ll tell you more about on Wednesday, but you can pick it up here. It is a TOTAL game changer.

This weekend we took family photos. I did not think they were going to turn out because it was really cold on Saturday morning and Penelope was so crabby. Our photographer gave us a little sneak peak at the photos yesterday and they’re adorable. The lighting was perfect and she got some really good ones in between Penelope’s tears. After that, my husband put together our new chairs for our pouch and we played outside as much as we could all weekend. I wish it would have been a little bit warmer, but it wasn’t raining so I can’t really complain. I hope you all had a great weekend.
